George Frederick THOMPSON

George Frederick THOMPSON (1892 – 1983). 

During the First World War, he served with the 25th London Cyclists Battalion, and was based (for a time at least) in Poona, India. Family tradition also has it that
he served in Palestine (and possibly Mesopotamia).
