George Valentine Hoffarth served with the 26th Middlesex Cyclists. His length of service is not known, the only information is a medal that he won competing in the 1903 Gamage Challenge Shield, mentioned on pages :-

George was born on the 25th May 1882 and baptized in Christ Church Battersea on the 19th July 1882. He was the son George Hoffart, a baker and a German Immigrant, and Margaret Turner. It would appear that George never married.
